Interactive experience through the history, culture and regional identity of Porto Trombetas.
Casa da Memória (Memory House) is an open space with a permanent exhibition of the history of MRN in the region, focusing the themes: "The history of MRN, from bauxite to aluminum"; "The Amazon and the environmental issue" and "Living in Trombetas".
It operates in the first residence built in Porto Trombetas, a symbolic property that was renovated, including landscape gardening, interior design and structure for multimedia presentations.
Since it was opened, on August 26, 2000, Casa da Memória has already been visited by more than 10 thousand people, including villagers, employees and company visitors.
Recognition
In 2001, MRN was awarded the Aberje Regional prize for the Casa da Memória project case.
