The Company
At the forefront of bauxite mining

Mineração Rio do Norte lies within the Porto Trombetas complex, in the municipality of Oriximiná, in the western part of the state of Pará, standing 880 km from Belém, the State Capital. MRN is an association, set up in 1974, of national and multinational companies with the objective of exploiting and trading bauxite, which is the raw material from which aluminum is extracted.

At present, the share capital is distributed as follows:
